This weekend, the Women's Conference and I will host an event called WE Connect at the L.A. Forum. It's designed to help families take full advantage of the valuable financial programs available to them -- such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and employment information -- by bringing together local, state, federal, public and private resources.

Over 26,000 people came to a similar weekend recently held in Fresno, and as a result, over $200,000 in EITC was returned to families in need.

The event this weekend is at the Forum in Downtown LA, from Friday, March 26th - Sunday, March 28th 2010. More info can be found here.
